塞罕壩国家森林公園（木蘭囲場）

清朝皇帝が秋の巻狩りを行った高原に広がる森、草原、湖。1962年から荒れ地に植林され、紅葉で有名です。承徳の北約240km。

Main season roughly June to early October. The forest farm closes the park for the autumn–spring fire-prevention season (in 2024 from 8 October), so check the reopening date before going. 確認中

Rules have changed several times: in recent years parts of the forest have opened free with advance booking, while individual spots such as Qixing Lake charge separately. Check current fees before going. 確認中

アクセス

About 240 km north of Chengde (4 hours or more by car); hire a car with driver or join a tour. There is no practical public transport inside the park, which is very large.
