Guiyang’s main high-speed hub, in the north-west of the city. Metro Line 1 runs from the station into the centre (Guiyang Railway Station, Hebin Park for Jiaxiu Pavilion); change to Line 2 for the airport. Trains to Anshun West (Huangguoshu), Kaili South (Xijiang), Libo and Congjiang leave from here.

Metro Line 2 starts at the airport (about 06:20–23:00, roughly every 7 minutes) and runs into the city; about 1 hour to Guiyang North with a change or by Line 2 alone. Longdongbao is a designated port for 240-hour visa-free transit, and the whole of Guizhou is in the permitted stay area.

The old central station, used by some high-speed and regular trains. It is on Metro Line 1; the Erqi Road snack street is right beside it and Jiaxiu Pavilion is about 2 km north.

市内の交通

Guiyang sits on a plateau at about 1,100 m, so summers are mild (rarely above 30 °C) but often rainy: bring a light rain jacket. The centre is hilly and spread out; Metro Lines 1, 2 and 3 plus taxis and DiDi are the easiest way around. Qingyan Ancient Town and Huaxi are 15–30 km south. Huangguoshu (via Anshun West), Xijiang (via Kaili South), Libo and Zhaoxing (via Congjiang) are day trips or overnights by high-speed train from Guiyang North, each followed by a shuttle bus. Guiyang Longdongbao Airport is a 240-hour visa-free transit port and all of Guizhou is inside the permitted stay area, so these trips are fine on visa-free transit. Carry your passport: most scenic-area tickets are real-name and checked at the gate.
