Golden Beach (Jinshatan)
金沙滩 · Jīnshā Tān
A 3.5-km crescent of fine golden sand on the West Coast across Jiaozhou Bay, the biggest beach in Qingdao and main venue of the Qingdao International Beer Festival.

Much roomier than the old-town beaches. The Beer Festival usually takes place from late July into August; outside summer it is a peaceful walk at sunset.
