Tip
Go early in the morning before the tour groups, and climb Lion Hill (Wangu Tower) for the rooftop view.

- Open all day; shops roughly 09:00–22:00. To be confirmed
- Price
- Free to walk in, but visitors owe the Old Town maintenance fee: ¥50, valid 365 days, also covering Black Dragon Pool, Shuhe and Baisha. Exempt: over 60s and children under 12 or 1.2 m.
- How to book
- Pay the ¥50 fee online (the Lijiang Old Town WeChat account, Trip.com or Meituan) or at a checkpoint; many inns collect it. Keep the e-receipt: it is checked at Mu Palace, Black Dragon Pool and other spots, not at the town gates. To be confirmed
