Getting around
Metro Line 2 is the one you need: it runs under the Songhua River from Central Street to Sun Island and the Ice and Snow World. Old town sights (Central Street, St Sophia, Zhaolin Park, the riverfront) are walkable. Taxis and DiDi are cheap. In winter it is often −20 °C: dress in layers, keep your phone warm (batteries die fast) and wear shoes with grip.
Book these before you fly
These sights need a reservation with your passport. Walk-ups are usually turned away.
