Tip
Walk in through the south gate (Dingguang Gate) and out through the north to avoid backtracking; the back lanes are quieter than the main street. Try the braised pig’s trotters and rose candy.

- About ¥10 entry ticket for the old streets, or about ¥60 for the combined ticket that adds the city wall, Zhuangyuan mansion and temples. Entry has been reported free in the evening and with advance booking at times; check when booking. To be confirmed

- Buy at the gate or online (Trip.com, “一码游贵州” mini-program) with your passport.
- Getting there
- About 30 km south of the centre. Bus 210 from Huaguoyuan or bus 203 from Guiyang Railway Station to the west gate (1–1.5 hours); taxi or DiDi about 40–50 minutes. Airport bus line 4 also runs to Huaxi/Qingyan.
