Monte Changbai, versante sud (solo d’estate)
长白山南景区（天池南坡） · Chángbái Shān Nán Jǐngqū (Tiānchí Nánpō)
L’accesso meno affollato e più remoto: la navetta arriva quasi al bordo e una breve passeggiata regala una vista ampia del Tianchi a luna piena; lungo la strada cascate gemelle nel bosco di betulle, legni carbonizzati e zone umide d’alta quota.
Sceglila soprattutto se hai già visto il versante nord o ovest o vuoi evitare la folla. Lo Yalu, più in basso, è anch’esso confine con la Corea del Nord: resta sui sentieri segnati e non fotografare le installazioni di frontiera.

- The hardest slope to reach without a car: two daily buses run from the Chibei bus station in Erdaobaihe to Chinan (¥25), but the scenic area is still about 70 km from the Chinan hotel area. Hire a car and driver for the day, or join a local tour. Da confermare
